"Iris and Lily became like a part of my family as I read this book. I laughed and cried and thought about the story when I was busy doing other things. I stayed up way too late at night reading, each chapter reprimanding myself, "Only one more chapter tonight", but unable to stop reading. It brought back some happy memories of my childhood, and I realized that most siblings have a deep connection throughout life, regardless of their childhood. As the twelve siblings grow up and develop their own lives and families, when given the chance, they reconnect and find ways to enjoy one another. One can't help but identify with one or more of the well developed and very human characters in this book. Having finished the book, I am wondering how Lily is managing and what Iris might decide to next!"
